Purveyor of beach bling

Beautiful sea worn quartz pebble has been paired with mixed metals, weaved in steel and set on a gold paperclip chain. 

The pebble was collected from Suffolk and has some beautiful flecks of red from iron inclusions streaked across the surface of the Quartz. 

Made using a wire bezel technique I created, which is kind of a cross between basketry and weaving. It is a time consuming technique but a labour of love. Each piece of sea glass is securely and artistically encased in a delicate wire frame.

Surgical stainless steel findings. Highest quality stainless steel does not rust or tarnish, a hard wearing metal with a finish like antique sterling. Also suitable for people with metal allergies, stainless steel is used predominantly in the medical profession as people are less likely to react to it.

Paired with stunning 18k gold filled Gold chain. Gold filled has far more endurance than traditional plating and, if cared for, will retain its patina. Keep away from direct water and perfume.

Lovely banded Quartz / Quartzite, an unusual find for me on Aldeburgh beach! Im just in love with the subtle banding, a beautiful naturally occurring semi precious gemstone. 

The recycled glass beads are from Ghana. I love the unpolished texture of these beads, they almost look grainy and frosty like stones, and because each one is handmade from crushed glass pressed into moulds, each bead is slightly different and irregular.

Pebble has been smoothed by the sea against the sand so has a nice smooth surface. 

This beautiful quartzite shows stunning layered bands running through it, a truly amazing find and a first for me! 

The bands are from microscopic inclusions of minerals that cause different reactions and colours to form. Similar to Agate and Onyx.

Flint is made of Silica, the same material as Quartz. Those holes are not eroded Silica, they represent where a sponge once sat, being softer they wore away, leaving these amazing natural beads that are considered to bring you good luck 💕

Paired with beads made from coconut shell. 

Most of my Flint comes from Brighton where I live, but I have also added to my collection when visiting other flinty locations like Suffolk and Norfolk!
