I call this one magic flute. Made with a pretty pointed painted top shell which has been encased in an organic hemp bezel weaved by myself. It sits upon a driftwood branch adorned with fishing nylon, twine made with seaweed and a bryozoan encased piece of crispy seaweed. 

I wanted to create a little collection of sculptures based around the lovely things we find on the beach, shells, driftwood, sea glass, but also incorporating the not-so-desirable materials to find like fishing nylon and plastic.
