Beautiful rare piece of Fuchsia Flash Glass.

Such an uncommon colour to find, and a-lot darker than another piece I have listed currently (see photos)

Flash glass means the colour is on one layer and then clear glass is laid on top. This was probably a cost effective way of making the colour before technology made pigments cheaper and affordable.  

Collected from Cornwall. 

Very special piece.

Made with Gold filled 18 K chain and findings. Gold filled is much more durable than plated, and with care should last just as long as pure gold (not that anything is pure gold, gold is a soft metal that has other metal added to it otherwise it would break). 

Necklace is 18 inches long with extender chain.
