This big statement necklace is fit for a mermaid! Made with a massive 72 hand collected and hand drilled Cornish Top Shells in a variety of purples, pinks, blues and green with shiny nacre patches and iridescent shimmers.

All shells have been collected in small batches and I always check no one is home before I take a shell. Then I drill them by hand.

The rope itself has been weaved by me with twine made from seaweed. Yes, seaweed! This part is nice a thick and holds the shape of the necklace well, but its very hard to weave the strands in such a long necklace! The top shells are weaved onto the seaweed rope with organic hemp twine which is super soft to wear, and like leather, gets better the more you wear it.

Necklace length in inches: Approx 42 inches. Very long. Doubles over nicely into two rows if you prefer to wear it shorter. See photo of me wearing for size
